Hello everyone, I know it's been a while, but there is some news to report.
First of all, a draft has been completed of the feature-length "superhero" flick. A few people have read it, and overall the feedback has been positive. 2nd draft is in progess.
It's also been decided that we're going to raise money (about 20 thousand bucks hopefully) and shoot this film at the begining of next year, so it'll be done and ready for Sundance in 2008. This WILL happen, there is no maybe about it. So if you know of any places to hit up for grants or other funds, let us know, cuz that part is HARD! Right now we're working on an application for a grant called "The Texas Filmmakers Production Fund" and hopefully they'll give us 8-10 grand, which on top of the money Todd and I are saving should get us through production. If we can just get the thing shot and everyone paid, then post shouldn't be as much of an issue.
So other than that, Go Mavs (they're playing the Spurs as I write this) and hopefully the Zombie Musical will get rolling soon.
